It is the region*s most prestigious awards recognizing outstanding and innovative achievements and extraordinary acts by spas, wellness centers and resorts across the region. Nominees are subjected to a strict judging process comprising of an operational analysis (from the submitted nomination form and supporting documentations), mystery shopper and a final judges deliberation session. The criteria differ for each category, but include in general such considerations as length of operations, ambience and environment, treatments range and quality, professionalism and standards of service and other qualitative and quantitative criteria. The Awards will be presented to the recipients / winners during the Asia Spa & Wellness Festival 2009 Gala Dinner on 21 March 2009 in the land of smiles – Thailand whereby recipients will receive the coveted Gold Awards Trophy and certificate of achievement. All award criteria and submission information is available on the awards section of the Asia Spa & Wellness Festival 2009 official show site, www.asiaspafestival.com.
